Who are we?
Align Foods is the parent company behind two trusted dairy brands, Re and Cyclops. Our mission is to create food that’s good for people, while moving the dairy industry toward a better future.
Our Journey
2012
Align Farms
Align started with a vision to create a multi-generational, pasture to plate, food production business. Our Founding Partners, John Buchanan and Rob Cameron, had a clear goal in mind; finding a better balance for their staff, their farm, and their environment.
Today, Align has grown to six farms and a full-time team of 27. We’re committed to seeking innovative ways to farm, and sharing what we find with farmers across New Zealand.
2019
Align Clareview begins its transition to regenerative agriculture.
2021
The Dirty Fork is launched.
2021
Kings Road Dairy and Cyclops Yoghurt brand are purchased by Align Farms to help accelerate the path to vertical integration.
2023
Jim Smalls, who founded Cyclops in the 80’s re-joins the team to develop more Cyclops products and the Re Yoghurt recipes
2025
New Zealand’s first regenerative dairy brand Re is launched bringing yoghurt made from whole milk from Clareview, a single origin regenerative farm to the domestic market in New Zealand.

Kings Road Dairy rebranded to Align Foods
